2012 Auto GP season
Previous: 2011 Next: 2013

The 2012 Auto GP season will be the third year of the Auto GP, and the fourteenth season of the former Euroseries 3000. The championship is due to begin on 11 March at Monza and is due to finish on 23 September at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, after seven double-header rounds.

Each meeting's sprint race will now last for a longer duration – a minimum of 90 km (55.9 mi), up from 70 km (43.5 mi) – while also introducing a mandatory pit-stop to the race.[1] The series will also introduce an overboost system that has already been used in the FIA Formula Two Championship.[2]
